Professional Experience

Ballet Master, Ballet Conservatory of Asheville, Asheville, North Carolina, 2009 to present. Co-founder and Ballet Master of professional ballet school. Co-director of pre-professional training program and company. Choreographed and directed a variety of ballets.

Ballet Master, Angie’s Dance Academy and Director, Mountain Ballet Company, Clyde, North Carolina, 2007 to 2009.  Served as Ballet Master and ballet teacher for large studio with over 400 students.  Directed pre-professional ballet program.  Choreographed and directed Sleeping Beauty.

Ballet Teacher and Coach, Asheville Ballet, Asheville, North Carolina, 2005 to 2007.  Taught and coached pre-professional and professional ballet dancers.

Founding Director and Resident Choreographer, Millennium Dance Syndicate, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 1998 to 2005.  Founding director, resident choreographer and lighting designer for professional dance company producing high quality dance concerts in venues throughout South Florida.  Responsible for all financial management aspects of the company.

Ballet Department Chair, Dance 10, Jupiter, Florida 1997 to 1999. Chaired ballet department for large studio with over 500 students and directed pre-professional ballet program. Choreographed and directed Coppelia, Giselle, and Nutcracker.

Founding Director and Resident Choreographer, Florida Dance Conservatory, West Palm Beach, Florida, 1994 to 97. Founded and directed professional school and company. Directed pre-professional training program for highly-talented classical and modern dancers. Responsible for all major aspects of the organization's operations.

Dancer, Assistant Artistic Director and Teacher, Demetrius Klein Dance Company, Lake Worth, Florida, 1992 to 94.  Dancer in critically acclaimed modern dance company.  Promoted to Assistant Artistic Director after retirement. 

Dancer, Naples Ballet Theatre, Naples, Florida, 1988 to 92. Roles included Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and contemporary work.

Dancer, Southern Ballet Theatre, Orlando, Florida, 1980 to 85.  Roles included classical and modern work.  Also served as company manger and financial controller from 1983 to 85.
